hello, my name is Joshua Powers and this is my blog. for my first blog i will tell you a little about my self and why i am making this blog. i am 18 yrs. old and still living with my parents untill i graduate high school, i am a senior at the otto-eldred jr./sr. high school and i will graduate june 4, 2004 then i will move away from my parents and goto dubois to attend triangle tech, to become a carpenter. i come from a family that verbally and emotionally abuses me, which is just as damaging as physical abuse, maybe more so, because where as physical abuse is illegal and put to and end ussually quikly, verbal and mental abuse is not so it can go on for ever untill a child moves out on his/her own. i want to inform others about how damaging this kind of abuse is. so it is not repeated on anyone else and eventually is made illegal.
